The Entrepreneurship Club at Texas State University is set to make their debut this fall. Their first meeting will be held on September 9th.

The club, which will be working in partnership with the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, works to empower students with their entrepreneurial ideas.

“This semester, we’re proud to be working alongside the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship to breathe new life into the Entrepreneurship Club,” president of the Entrepreneurship Club Ian McLarty said.

The club fosters an environment for students to further explore, develop, and launch their entrepreneurial ideas alongside like-minded individuals. Members of the club are able to gain knowledge and real-world experience through the innovative environment.

“Our goal is to provide members with real-world opportunities to explore business ideas, connect with mentors, and build the confidence to lead in any industry,” McLarty said.

The mission of the Entrepreneurship Club is to not only provide real-world experiences to its members, but to also provide knowledge, mentorship, and resources. These future entrepreneurs can use these resources to help them thrive in the business world.

This fall the Entrepreneurship Club will be starting a book club to further connect with students and members of the club. The club also hosts lunches with entrepreneurs for students to gain further knowledge.

Alongside the book club and socials, the Entrepreneurship Club works in collaboration with Texas State’s Financial Management Association, FMA, for their Real Estate Cohort.

On September 12th, the Entrepreneurship Club will host a social for students interested in learning more about the club.

“Whether you’re ready to launch your first venture or simply curious about business, we invite you to join us,” McLarty said. “Together, we’re creating a space where ideas take shape, and future entrepreneurs are made.”
