The Bobcat Innovation Challenge will culminate on Saturday, April 11, from 1–3 PM at STAR Park, where this year’s finalists will present their tech‑driven ventures to a panel of judges, industry experts, and community partners.

Throughout the competition, students have strengthened their ideas through mentorship, prototype development, and business‑model coaching, gaining the confidence and support needed to move toward launch, investment, and long‑term success.

Final Pitch Day showcases the culmination of that work, celebrating bold innovation and entrepreneurial spirit as teams compete for $2,000 for 1st place, $1,500 for 2nd, $1,000 for 3rd, $500 for 4th, and $250 for 5th.

Fueling the Future: The Capital Game is an advanced workshop that helps founders think holistically about growth, funding, and long-term value. 

Participants will explore how capital decisions influence scaling strategies, team development, and future exit options, and learn how to align these choices with their business goals. 

This session focuses on timing, trade-offs, and building a venture that is designed to grow intentionally and remain valuable—whether the goal is scaling, selling, or sustaining the business over time.

The Founder’s Financial Toolkit: Pricing, Profits & Possibilities is an advanced workshop designed to help founders understand the financial numbers that drive real business decisions. Led by Randy Haran— TXST alum + President of The Business Crusader. 

Participants will learn how to read and use balance sheets, cash flow statements, and income statements to set smart pricing, evaluate profitability, and plan for growth. 

This session focuses on practical interpretation—not accounting theory—giving founders the confidence to make informed, strategic decisions using their financial data.
