Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship provides resources and a supportive environment for students, faculty, and alumni to develop and grow their entrepreneurial ideas. The student staff for the CIE works both in the community and behind the scenes to create content for the events, workshops, and student businesses.

Director
Quinn Valentine oversees the CIE working to provide a support for entrepreneurs. She ensures the mission of the CIE continues to grow to provide support and resources to student entrepreneurs.

Program Organizer
Regina Bautista works to coordinate programs and events for the CIE. Also a successful business owner, Bautista ensures events are informative and engaging for the campus and San Marcos community.

Photographer
Diwas Pandit covers the CIE’s events taking photos that showcase workshops and events. Alongside taking photos, Pandit edits them to be used in the content created by members of the marketing team.

Program Coordinator
Kendall Perkinson assists in the promotion of the CIE’s events and content. She provides a supportive environment for students and faculty while developing the CIE’s website and coordinating events.

Marketing Coordinator
Cadyn Perkins oversees the marketing initiatives for the CIE’s social media. Perkins ensures posts are timely and cohesive to the brand. Perkins ensures content is both effective and engaging.

Podcast Host & Video Supervisor
Jamian Lebron hosts the podcast and oversees video content. Lebron interviews entrepreneurs to tell their stories. Lebron ensures there is a weekly podcast and videos created for social media.

Graduate Assistant
Anna Kaic develops partnerships around the community while implementing outreach strategies to grow engagement. Kaic works with the CIE and McCoy marketing teams to reach various levels of visibility.

Content Creator
Isabelle Cantu creates engaging posts for the CIE’s social media. Cantu works with the Marketing Coordinator to maintain a cohesive and creative brand through logo designs and social media posts.

Promotions Coordinator
Grace Darcy manages the blog page of the CIE’s website. Darcy interviews and writes blogs to promote events and the community. She ensures posts are informative and the page is engaging to readers.
Student Made
This fall the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship launched their Student Made site. Student Made is a platform that allows student entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their creations. The CIE and Student Made provide support and a platform for students to develop their businesses. Students can apply to join Student Made on their website.

SMS Marketing Manager
Addi Villegas oversees marketing initiatives with the Student Made branch to ensure a consistent and cohesive brand is presented. She works to create engaging content for the social media platforms.

Website Manager
Shoadi Henshaw works to ensure the Student Made website is up to date and engaging for viewers. Henshaw uploads new products, collections, processes and monitors orders to send to the creators.

Campus Manager
Tyson Rizzo oversees the management and functions of the Student Made branch. By distributing tasks and maintaining communication, he works to lead a team of student managers ensuring goals are met.

Finance & Strategy Manager
Jordan Lusk oversees the financial matters for Student Made. Lusk ensures financial matters are taken care of consistently and timely while analyzing and reporting business data to the entrepreneurs.

Community Engagement Manager
Hallie Cunningham executes events and communication to support and engage student creators. She works with student creators in their onboarding process to make sure they are successful.

Bobcat Bazaar Manager & Events + Partnerships Manager
Max Boeskin works with both the CIE and Student Made to ensure events are promoted and executed consistently. He plans and organizes events for Student Made and the Bazaar events for the CIE.
