Risk isn’t just something to react to—it’s something great entrepreneurs learn to anticipate.
Whether you’re building a startup, launching a new idea, or testing a concept in class, understanding risk is key to building a business that lasts.
Join Chris Carter, CEO and Managing Partner of GenRev Consulting, LLC, for an eye‑opening workshop that breaks down risk management in a way entrepreneurs can actually use. With more than 30 years of global audit, fraud investigation, and enterprise‑risk leadership experience, Chris will show you how to spot hidden vulnerabilities early—and design simple controls that keep your venture on track.
In this interactive session, you’ll learn how to:
Distinguish everyday operational risks from the unique risks your business faces
Think like an auditor—anticipating issues before they become problems
Build practical, effective internal controls to strengthen your business model
Recognize why risk management matters at every stage of a business
Perfect for founders, creators, and innovators who want to build resilience into their ideas from day one, this workshop gives you tools you can apply immediately—no accounting background required.
Come ready to analyze, reflect, and evaluate your business concept through a new lens with guidance from a nationally recognized leader in audit, risk, and corporate strategy.
