When running your own business one of the most important and often forgotten things is marketing. Having a strong marketing strategy will guide you to success.
Here are a few tips and tricks to make your marketing soar!
Social Media
First, make social media accounts for your business. One of the main sources of information we use today is through social media. Start off with Instagram and then expand to other platforms if you see fit.
On Instagram you can post a variety of content to engage your customers and potential customers. Aside from posting your products, you can create posts highlighting events you will be vendoring at or giveaways you are hosting.
Having social media for your business will allow people to stay engaged in you and your business. The more engagement you have, the more potential customers you might find!
Branding
Have a logo and cohesive brand colors.
Once these are established you will be able to include these on your posts, posters, and vendor tables. With these established, you’ll have a recognizable image for customers and future customers.
People will see this image and remember you and your business.
Consistency
Have a consistent and active posting schedule.
You want to make sure you post often to ensure your profile is getting out there. Post once a day on your profile and story. Whether it be promoting a new product, a market you’ll be a vendor at, or a silly reel, having continuous posts will boost engagement.
Make sure your posts are consistent, it will keep your already established audience engaged.
Audience
Know your target audience.
Who are you gearing your products towards? Which age group will drive sales? Having this knowledge will allow you to gear your marketing towards this audience and capture their attention.
Make your posters, booths, posts (anything and everything you can) appealing towards your audience. This will help boost attention towards your business.
